Proverbs Chapter 2

Proverbs 2:2
Make your ear attentive to wisdom, Incline your heart to understanding;

        This verse is telling us to really listen to good things and to ignore and not take to heart bad things people say. It is also saying that when we hear something we dont like that we should try to understand why someone might be saying that. We need to look at it from their point of view not just ours. This verse would be very helpful to remember when teachers give us  assignments that just seem pointless and dumb but we should try to remember that they arnt just doing it to make us mad they are trying to help us and prepare us for the future.

  1. I was able to live out this verse fromProverbs this week when one of my teachers gave us a three page paper to do. At first i was very annoyed and i just seemed like busy work but then I tought about it and realized that she was only trying to make us better at writing papers so were more prepared for college.
